The Careline Alarm System

The Careline MyAmie Pendant is a small, discreet and stylish button which can be worn by the alarm user either around the neck or on the wrist. If the alarm user falls, feels unwell or suffers a medical emergency, all they need to do is press their red button. This will activate the alarm and alert the Care Team who will respond within seconds and arrange help.
Alarm Base Unit
The Careline base unit is a small grey box which is connected into the main telephone line. The box is activated via the red button pendant and features a microphone and loudspeaker built into the box. The care team can communicate with the alarm user via these features, which makes them able to assess the alarm call and organise assistance.

In the case of an emergency, the Care Team will be alerted via an alarm call. A member of the team will respond in a matter of seconds and communicate with the user over the loudspeaker.
Once the situation has been assessed, the Care Team will arrange help and assistance to the alarm user. This will be in the form of family, friends and neighbours being called to the scene, or in the case of an emergency, he emergency services will be called and any relevant medical information passed on.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
