All Careline alarm users in Stoke-on-Trent, and across the UK, are connected to our 24-hour monitoring team. Once an alert has been raised, the highly-trained team will respond within seconds. The alarm user's situation is assessed and help is called, in the form of family, friends and the emergency services.

Emergency contacts usually consist of family members, close friends and neighbours - who live close by.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
Our base unit connects the alarm user to our monitoring team. It can be installed and set-up within a few minutes, either by the alarm user or by a friend/family member. Simply plug the device into the telephone socket and a power supply, with the telephone connecting to the back of the unit using the adapter provided. A test call is then required to ensure that everything is working as it should be.
MyAmie Pendant
The Careline pendant can be worn around the neck or around the wrist. An option to clip the pendant onto a belt is also available. In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red pendant button, which send an alert call through to the monitoring team. The pendant will still work whilst the alarm user is in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. It can also be used outside in the garden, up to a range of 100 metres.

A Key Safe Helps the Paramedics
Our Careline service ensure that the people of Stoke-on-Trent always have somebody to call for help. Adding a Key Safe to the service ensures that help can always get to the alarm user. Without a Key Safe, the paramedics may not be able to gain access to the property, due to the door being locked. It may be that a key holder is on their way - leading to the paramedics having to wait or force their way in.
If the alarm user has a Key Safe, a secure metal box which holds keys, they can share their combination code with the monitoring team. In an emergency, the monitoring team can then pass this information on to the emergency services. The paramedics can then open the Key Safe, open the door and provide help.
The time saved here could make all the difference. We offer three Key Safe options which can be ordered with your chosen alarm service plan.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
