Our Careline Alarms come in two seperate parts, both of which are easy to use.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The Careline Alarm is can be installed within a matter of minutes, either by the alarm user or by a loved one. The device is simply plugged into the telephone socket and a power supply, with the telephone being plugged in to the back of the unit. A loudspeaker and microphone system makes it easy for alarm users to speak with the monitoring team.
MyAmie Pendant
The MyAmie Pendant can be worn around the neck or around the wrist. Alarm users simply push the red button if they feel unwell or have a fall. This connects them to our 24-hour monitoring team, who will respond and arrange for help. The pendant button can be worn in the bath and shower as it is waterproof.

Our alarm service relies on your emergency contacts, or the emergency services, being able to access your home. Some customers choose to install a Key Safe to make this possible.
A Key Safe is a secure metal box which is attached to the home. It is a place to safely store house keys, rather than under a plant pot. Users will select their own personal combination code, which is needed to gain entry.
We ask for all alarm users to share their code with the monitoring team. They can then pass these details on to the paramedics, to ensure that they can definitely gain access to the house. Without this access, paramedics may have to wait until somebody with a key arrives.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
