The Safety Pendant Watch comes with an adjustable wrist strap, so that you can wear it like your actual watch. If you'd prefer, there is a neck cord so you can wear it as a necklace instead. It's small and discreet, and only weighs seven grams. The red help button is a third larger than the previous model, making it even easier to raise an alarm. Users can easily hide their pendant by tucking it under their sleeve.
Pendant Features
Our Safety Pendant Watch is waterproof so that our customers can raise an alarm if they slip whilst getting in or out of the bath. It also has a large range so that if they trip whilst gardening, they can still press their pendant. There is no need to recharge or worry about batteries, the pendant has a seven-year battery included. A free replacement will be sent once we receive a low battery notification.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The Safety Pendant Watch connects to the Careline alarm's base unit. This hub plugs into the mains power and existing telephone socket, with the user's telephone then plugging into the back of the unit. It features a built-in microphone and loudspeaker, which allows clear communication between the monitoring team and the alarm user. The base unit also features a red help button, as well as a green cancel button for false alarms. A 40-hour, rechargeable back-up battery will boot up in the event of a power cut.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
