The Careline Package
The Red Button
The Careline MyAmie Pendant is a small, discreet and comfortable button which can be worn around the neck or on the wrist. If the button is pressed, it puts an emergency call through to our Care Team.
The Base Unit
The Careline Base Unit is a simple but effective box that features a microphone and loudspeaker to allow ease of communication between our Care Team and the Careline user.
The Fall Detector
The Careline Vibby Fall Detector is a great addition to the Careline alarm service. For added security in Reading, we would advise upgrading to our fall detector package which includes the new Vibby Fall Detector. The Vibby can be worn around the neck and automatically detects a fall which then activates it and sends an alert message through to the Care Team.
Much like the MyAmie Pendant, the Vibby is discreet and stylish. It is waterproof so can be worn in the bath or shower. The Vibby not only detects falls as it also has a button function where you can press the alarm is the user feels unwell or is concerned about their security.

Each Careline alarm user is protected by our highly-trained monitoring team. Our team are available 24/7, 365 days a year to ensure that help is always available to Careline users.
In an emergency situation, the monitoring team will receive an alert message once the alarm user has pressed their pendant button. Within a matter of seconds, a member of the team will respond and speak with the alarm user over the loudspeaker system on their base unit.
The situation is assessed and the team member will arrange for help. This will include calling for family members, friends and neighbours - otherwise known as emergency contacts. If the alarm user requires medical attention, the monitoring team will also call for the emergency services. Any relevant medical information will also be shared with the paramedics.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
