Living alone can be a lonely and worrying experience for the elderly and frail. It is especially worrying for those at risk of a fall, as there may be nobody around to help them. A Careline Alarm can change this.
Our service provides people with peace of mind, as we ensure that help will always be available. All of our alarm users simply need to push the red button on their pendant if they have a fall or feel unwell.
An alert call will be raised at our 24-hour monitoring centre, and a member of the team will respond immediately.
Help will then be found in the form of friends, family or neighbours (known as emergency contacts), and the emergency services if they are needed.

Lifeline Vi Alarm Base Unit
The Careline alarm base unit plugs into the telephone socket and a power supply. The telephone itself is connect to the back of the unit via the adapter provided. This nicely-sized unit allows the alarm user to communicate with the monitoring team. This is possible thanks to the loudspeaker and built-in microphone system. The base unit also has a back-up battery, of up to 40 hours, which will boot-up in the event of a power cut, and then recharge once power is restored.
MyAmie Pendant
The Careline pendant, also know as the MyAmie, can be worn around the neck or around the wrist. It is this little red button which allows the alarm user to call for help in an emergency. Simply push the button and the monitoring team will respond over the base unit loudspeaker. The pendant will still work whilst the alarm user is in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. It can also be used in the garden, as it has a range of up to 100 metres. A test will be carried out during the set-up of the alarm.
Vibby Fall Detector Pendant
For even more security and confidence, we suggest choosing the new Vibby Fall Detector pendant. Just like the MyAmie Pendant above, the Vibby allows alarm users to press a button when they need help. It is also waterproof and can be used in the garden.
The main difference is that the stylish, white and black Vibby Pendant can automatically detect a fall. This means that if the alarm user falls, the pendant will send an automatic alert call to the monitoring team - there is no need to press any buttons. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.

This device allows people to store their house keys in a secure, safe place - rather than leaving them under plant pots or door mats. The alarm user can choose their own combination code to lock and unlock their safe.
Key Safes also work perfectly alongside the Careline Alarm. By sharing their combination code with our monitoring team, the alarm user is ensuring that medical help can always reach them. This code can be shared with the paramedics in an emergency situation, ensuring that even if the door is locked, they can still gain access to the alarm user's home. The time saved here could be critical.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
