The Careline Package
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The base unit allows clear communication between the monitoring team and the alarm user. This is done through a loudspeaker and built-in microphone system. The unit itself can be installed and set-up within a few minutes. It simply needs to be plugged into the telephone socket and a power supply, with the telephone connecting to the back of the base unit using the adaptor provided.
Red Button Pendant
The red button pendant is worn around the neck or around the wrist, depending on the alarm user's preference. It is small and stylish, with many alarm users keeping their pendant on even when they leave their home. If they fall or feel unwell, the alarm user simply needs to press the red button. This will alert the monitoring team, who will respond within a few seconds over the base unit.

Each Careline alarm user is protected by our highly-trained monitoring team. Our team are available 24/7, 365 days a year to ensure that help is always available to Careline users.
In an emergency situation, the monitoring team will receive an alert message once the alarm user has pressed their pendant button. Within a matter of seconds, a member of the team will respond and speak with the alarm user over the loudspeaker system on their base unit.
The situation is assessed and the team member will arrange for help. This will include calling for family members, friends and neighbours - otherwise known as emergency contacts. If the alarm user requires medical attention, the monitoring team will also call for the emergency services. Any relevant medical information will also be shared with the paramedics.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
