The Careline Package
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The alarm's base unit has a built-in microphone and loudspeaker, which allows clear, crisp communication between the alarm user and the monitoring team. It also has three buttons, including a red help button and a green cancel button. The base unit can be set-up in a few short minutes, simply plugging into the mains power and the telephone socket. The telephone then plugs into the back of the unit.
MyAmie Pendant
Alarm users can wear their pendant around their neck or wrist, depending on their preference. It's small and discreet so that our alarm users feel comfortable wearing it. Our device will still work in the bath or shower thanks to its waterproof functionality. In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red pendant button and the monitoring team will respond instantly and arrange for help.
Vibby Fall Detector
The new Vibby Fall Detector is worn around the neck. The Vibby automatically detects a fall and sends an alert message through to the monitoring centre. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.
Much like our standard pendant, the Vibby is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant.

In an emergency situation, the monitoring team will receive an alert message once the alarm user has pressed their pendant button. Within a matter of seconds, a member of the team will respond and speak with the alarm user over the loudspeaker system on their base unit.
The situation is assessed and the team member will arrange for help. This will include calling for family members, friends and neighbours - otherwise known as emergency contacts. If the alarm user requires medical attention, the monitoring team will also call for the emergency services. Any relevant medical information will also be shared with the paramedics.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
