The Careline System
Our customers will receive an alarm base unit and pendant alarm button.
Careline Base Unit
Every alarm user will receive a Careline base unit. The base unit is connected to the telephone line and also connects wirelessly to the red alarm button. If the button is pressed an alarm call will be activated.
MyAmie Pendant
When the MyAmie pendant is pressed, it activated the base unit and makes an alarm call to our Care Team. The pendant can be worn either around the neck or on the wrist, depending on the users preference.
Key Safes
For added security in Hove, we would recommend also ordering a key safe with your alarm package. As our alarm requires emergency contacts and the emergency service to be able to enter your home, a key safe can be a life saving product.
A key safe is a secure metal box which fits to an external wall of your property. Spare keys can be kept in the key safe and accessed by a unique and secure code.
We offer a range of key safe options with different levels of security. The Supra C500 pictured is our most secure key safe, it is Police approved and as secure as a domestic front door.
All our key safes can be purchased online or over the phone when ordering a Careline plan.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.

The pendant which accompanies the Careline alarm's base unit has some useful features:
- It's lightweight, comfortable and discreet.
- It can be worn around the wrist or neck.
- It's waterproof for use in the bath or shower.
- It has a range of around 100 metres for use in the garden.
