Base Unit
The alarm unit itself is a small box which you just need to plug into the telephone socket on the wall. Don't worry if you already have something in the socket, we provide you with an adapter!
Neck & wrist pendant
A small, waterproof Careline pendant which has a battery life of 7 years - so there is no need to worry about it running out any time soon. The small button is no bigger than 50p.
The Care Team are available 24 hours a day
We're there to answer your calls all day, every day!
Our team are friendly & approachable
Our Care Team are expertly trained to help you in an emergency situation. If you need any help, reassurance or assistance, our Care Team will arrange this for you. All you need to do is provide us with a list of emergency contacts and we will do the rest.
If your pendant is pressed, the Care Team will try and speak to you over the loudspeaker. If you are able to respond, you can tell them what the issue is and what help you need. If you don't require the emergency services, the Care team will begin to call your emergency contacts - starting from the top, so please write your contacts in the order you wish them to be called.
If you are unable to speak to the Care Team over the loudspeaker, they will try and call your telephone. If they still get no response from that, they will assume you need help and call your emergency contacts.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.

The pendant which accompanies the Careline alarm's base unit has some useful features:
