The Careline Package
Alarm Base Unit
The Careline base unit is connected to the pendant button and allows for clear communication between the user and our monitoring team. The base unit only needs to be plugged in, therefore it is very quick and easy to install. The unit can be set up in just a couple of minutes making it easy to install by people of all ages.
Pendant Button
There are two ways the pendant can be worn: around the neck and around the wrist, it's down to the user's preference. Alarm users press the red button when the feel unwell or if they fall. The monitoring team will then receive an alert who will respond using the loudspeaker on the base unit. Help is then found via friends and family.
Vibby Fall Detector
The Vibby fall detector provides even more security than the standard pendant, as it automatically detects when someone falls. When someone has a fall it sends an alert to the monitoring team who then provide the necessary help.
Confirmation that an alert has been raised is clearly shown by an LED light on the device, along with a useful vibration. It’s also very easy to cancel an alarm call if it was a false alarm or a test. All the user needs to do is to cover the face of the Vibby with their hands, or stand up within the 20 second period after a fall is detected
It can also be used in the same way as the standard pendant as the user presses the button when they feel unwell or fall that then alerts the monitoring team.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
