Distressing events, such as a fall, should be dealt with in a calm and uncomplicated manner. This is why our Careline Emergency Response is simple, efficient and comforting.
If you need peace of mind that you, or a relative, are in good hands you can get familiar with how to call for help and how our Care Team deal with a call from someone.
Four stages of Careline emergency response:
1. Sound the alarm
Okay this is the only stage where you need to physically do something. After this we can handle the rest. In the event of a fall or other emergency you will need to press your Careline pendent; this may be on a neck cord, a belt clip or wrist strap. But don’t worry they all work the same way.
2. Care Team respond
Our Careline Emergency Response begins…. After you have activated the alarm your call for help goes straight to our UK based, Platinum Accredited monitoring centre. These well trained people are here to help you 24 hours a day 365 days a year. They are ready and waiting for your call!
3. Talking with you
Our Care Team will talk you through what the situation is, they may ask some questions to get a clear idea of what has happened. They already have a record of your medical conditions, emergency contacts and other details that you have already provided.
4. Contacting appropriate help
Once the member of our Care Team feels that they can evaluate your needs accurately they will decide on the appropriate action to take. They will then contact either a neighbour, loved one, or the emergency services to get you the help you need.
