The Careline Alarm System
The Lifeline Vi Alarm Unit and MyAmie Pendant
Base Unit
The Careline base unit acts and the communication hub between the alarm user and the monitoring team. This unit simply plugs into the alarm user's telephone line and mains power, with their telephone plugging into the back of the box. Once everything is connected, a quick test call with the monitoring team is activated by pressing the red button. The base unit has a built-in microphone and loudspeaker to allow the alarm user and monitoring team to speak to on another.
Pendant Button
Alarm users will also receive a small pendant button which can be worn around the wrist or around the neck. This discreet device is waterproof so that it will work in the bath and shower. It also has a range of up to 100 metres, which means alarm users will be protected throughout their home and outside in the garden. In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red pendant button to alert out monitoring team. They will respond and arrange for help to go to the alarm user.
Vibby Fall Detector
The Vibby Fall Detector automatically detects a fall and sends an alert message through to the monitoring centre. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.
Much like the normal pendant, the Vibby is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with the normal pendant.
If you or loved one is prone to falling, due to balance problems or health conditions such as arthritis, then we would advise upgrading to the fall detector plan.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
