Lifeline Vi Alarm Base Unit
The base unit is simply plugged into the mains power and the existing telephone socket. The alarm user's telephone is then connected to the back of the alarm, using the adapter provided inside the box. This base unit connects our alarm users to the monitoring team, using the microphone and loudspeaker system. Users can also use the red button on the base unit to call for help.
MyAmie Pendant
The second part of the Careline Alarm package is the comfortable MyAmie Pendant. This can be worn around the wrist or around the neck, depending on the user's preference. It's waterproof for use in the bath and shower, and will also work outside in the garden as it has a range of up to 100 metres. If the alarm user has a fall, they simply press the red button and the monitoring team will respond over the base unit.
Fall Detector Package
The Vibby Fall Detector offers the people of Cambridge an added layer of security. The stylish black and white device will automatically detect when the alarm user has a fall, there is no need to press any buttons. An alert will be raised at the monitoring centre and they will respond immediately over the base unit.
Confirmation that an alert has been raised is clearly shown by an LED light on the device, along with a useful vibration. To cancel the alarm call, the wearer needs to cover the face of the detector with their hands, or stand up within a 20-second period after a fall has been detected.
Of course, users can still use the Vibby in the same way as the MyAmie Pendant by pressing the button.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
