24-Hour Assistance Button
Our assistant button allows elderly, disabled and vulnerable people to remain living comfortably in their own home. We do this with minimal intrusion, and with a high-quality, affordable service.
Instead of relying on home care visits or having to move into a home, the elderly can simply wear a little pendant assistant button on their wrist or around their neck. This small device connects to an alarm base unit.
The equipment connects the alarm user to our highly-trained Care Team, who are on-hand to respond and help to any emergency alarm call. They call upon selected family, friends and neighbours and ask them to help the alarm user. The emergency services are also called if needed.

The Assistant Button
Our assistant button is lightweight, discreet and comfortable. Wearers can choose to have it on their wrist or around their neck, with both attachments included inside the box. It's waterproof so that the user can still alert the Care Team if they slip in the bathroom.
The device is also usable outside in the garden, with a range of up to 100 metres. There is no need to charge our assistant button, it comes with a seven-year battery and a free replacement will be sent when needed.
Alarm Base Unit
The assistant button is connected to the alarm's base unit. This "Hub" needs to be plugged into the mains power and telephone socket. The user's telephone is then plugged into the back of the base unit. Installation should take no more than a few minutes.
The base unit allows the alarm user to communicate with the Care Team, via a loudspeaker and built-in microphone system. There is also a red help button, a green cancel button, and a yellow button for when the user is going away.
Fall Assistant Button
Alongside our standard pendant, we also have the fall assistant button available. This device is particularly useful for those who suffer from long-term health problems, which can make them prone to falling in and around the home.
The fall assistant button automatically detects when the wearer has suffered a fall. When a fall is detected, the device will send an alarm call through to the Care Team without the user having to do anything. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.

How To Use The Assistant Button Alarm
Our service is quick and easy to understand. If the alarm user has a fall, feels unwell or requires the emergency services, they can push their assistant button and our Care Team will respond.
A member of the team will dial through to the user's base unit and try to communicate with them. They'll assess the situation and take action; through the user's emergency contacts. They will be phoned and informed of the situation, and asked to attend urgently.
If medical attention is required, the emergency services will also be called on the user's behalf. Any relevant medical information will be shared with the paramedics, to put them in the best possible position to help.
The Care Team are available every day of the year.
