What is a Key Safe?
A key safe is a secure place to store spare keys. It offers a convenient way for the homeowner and authorised visitors to enter the home quickly and safely. With a key safe, there is no need to leave keys under the doormat, where thieves know to check. A key safe can also save you money in the long run, with no need to buy a set of keys for each of your emergency contacts. Furthermore, key safe owners can share their codes with emergency services and care workers, giving them quick and easy access to the home. This can save precious time in emergencies when minutes and even seconds can make a crucial difference.
The Supra C500 is one of only two police-approved key safes here in the UK. It has achieved an independent security rating: the LPS1175 Level 1 Accreditation, which means that it provides as much resistance to an attack as the average domestic front door.
Supra C500 Features
The Supra C500 Key Safe has a whole host of features that make it the best key safe available, including:

Installing the Supra C500 Key Safe is easy; all the fittings come with the device in the box.
How to Set Your Key Safe Combination
The first thing to do is to set the security combination on your new key safe. Setting your combination is simple – just follow these easy steps.
Firstly, pull open the black weather cover and press down on the CLEAR button.
Next, you’ll need to open the safe by turning the black ‘Open’ handle 180 degrees to the right. This will then reveal 12 buttons.
There are 10 number buttons and two letter buttons on the back of the lid. Each of the buttons features an arrow that can be rotated. If the arrow is pointing up towards the hinge of the key safe, it means that they are included in your combination code. Conversely, the arrows pointing away will not be included.
With the key safe open, turn the open button 180 degrees back to the locked position. Then take the code changing tool from inside the lid. You can set your chosen combination by putting the tool into the grooves of the numbers you wish to use and turning them until the arrow points towards the hinge. We suggest that you make your code as difficult for others to guess as possible.
Once you have set your combination, place the code change tool back into the lid of your key safe. Just to be on the safe side, be sure to test your combination code. To do this, lock the key safe and press your chosen buttons until they click, then turn the open button 180 degrees. Your new Supra C500 key safe should now open!
How to Install your Supra C500 Key Safe
To mount your key safe, you’ll need a drill, a 5mm masonry bit, and a Torx T30 screwdriver. You’ll also need the four self-tapping masonry screws supplied.
Firstly, press the CLEAR button and enter your brand-new combination to open the key safe.
Using the mounting template provided, mark the holes so that they are as close to the centre of the brick as possible. We advise mounting the key safe into brick or concrete rather than mortar for maximum security.
Next, using the mounting template, you need to drill the four mounting holes to a depth of at least 7mm deeper than the length of the screw.
Now position the key safe over the four holes you have drilled. Drill the screws directly into the brick.
To finish, simply tighten the screws until the heads are snug against the back of the key safe. You can then place your keys inside the lock box and close your new key safe.
